CCleaner is free (donations welcome) which I always appreciate. It's mainly a Registry Cleaner, but also can be set to clean many other things, including cookies.

I'm still unsure why anyone bothers to clear cookies (OR temp internet files for that matter), as they quickly build back up again anyway. Furthermore there are maximum limits to how many CAN be stored - when limit is reached the old ones drop off as new ones are added - self-perpetuating.

But if you DO like to occasionally or regularly clear (all) your cookies, you must be annoyed that for the next few days you must relogin to certain common sites, that use cookies to remember you. THAT's where CCleaner can help, completely!

Using CCleaner to erase your cookies allows "exceptions" - cookies you DON'T want deleted. Set these up once, then CCleaner will remember them permanently, and never delete them.

Open CCleaner, choose OPTIONS, then COOKIES. This shows all your cookies in left panel, but lets you copy selected ones over to the RIGHT panel: "Cookies To Keep". It may take a few runs to get set, but I recommend every few days open CCleaner cookies, glance down main list, and choose any more you know you DO want to keep - THEN run the Cleaner (ensuring you have its "cookies" option ticked).

Sure works great for me !

BTW, I figure it's always safe/good to run the "Registry" cleanup, with ALL options set on - but be cautious about the "Windows"/"Applications" section - there may well be sections there you personally DON'T want to clean, so treat each check box on its merits.

I've already started trying this and so far you are correct, the option to exclude them seems to work perfectly. Now, if none of my other cleanup routine removes them I'll be in great shape! Thanks for sharing this - it was one of my biggest pet peeves about doing routine cleanup.
